So DD woke up from a nap very grumpy and screaming. When I picked her up and had her propped upon my shoulder she stopped crying. When I put her down to change her, back to screaming. I noticed when I had her upright she was swallowing a LOT. like every couple seconds. It made me wonder if she had some reflux or something going on, and she was swallowing it down. And that's why she was so uncomfortable when she was laying flat. Not sure if this is a symptom or not and I hadn't even fed her recently; it was actually about time for the next feeding.
Any insight? Thanks ladies
we have gripe water but I haven't given her anything at all yet.
Re: Frequent swallowing
Luke has reflux and frequent swallowing, sticking out his tongue, and being fussy when laying flat are some of his more prominent symptoms.
Like DC said, if it you notice that this is her new normal, you'll want to talk to the pedi about it.
