So is it just me, or do you find yourself thinking that you must have the most amazing, perfect, beautiful child 100 times a day? I'm a rational educated woman, but I completely melt for my little girl! It's silly, but my husband and I spend waaaay too much time telling each other that we're convinced that she's way ahead of the curve: smarter than most babies, more well developed and more attractive than most babies. Every time she picks up her head, or even takes a big dump for that matter, we act like she just penned the State of the Union. I never thought I'd be that kind of mom!
Anybody else just falling apart for their LO? Anything in particular that you are proud of? I want to hear about all your MENSA candidates and beauty queens/kings ![]()
(mine is that while she was being examined on her stomach by the pediatrician's nurse on her second day out, she picked her head and turned it to the other side - the nurse flipped a little!)

We are the same way! We constantly talk about how much he's learning and growing, and how advanced he is. Which is hilarious because I teach Kindermusik classes, so I'm always hearing from parents about how their kid is "advanced", and I always laugh t
