3.5 year old weaning

I think my DS is weaning. I kind of expected it to happen this pregnancy, but he didn't even nurse today. The past few nights he has asked o go to bed without nursing...maybe because he is just so tired from a tummy bug, but I am guessing we don't have much time left. Bitter sweet...I was torn between hoping he would wean before the baby arrived and between hoping we could tandem nurse for a few months and work on weaning around his 4th bday. We shall see ow it turns out,but we have a vacation coming up...Paris-Nice-Florence...and I am guessing that will either set us back because he will want to nurse on the train or be the final distraction that ends our time nursing.

My DD is 3 1/2 and I think she has weaned...She has only nursed twice in the past two months, but every once in a while she asks. If she asks at bedtime, I say yes. It is really odd to not know if she is going to nurse again...
