Karo syrup to make LO poop?

DD is almost 7 wks and is like not pooping. The interwebs says this is normal for breast fed babies but she is clearly struggling. Has anyone tried Karo syrup? Several friends pedis have told them to try this with their LO's but I don't see mine until tomorrow... Thoughts?

I did this for my daughter and it worked wonderful. She was EBF, and didn't start having problems until we started solids at 10 months.

I dont remember the dosage tho, sorry!

I would not try it until tomorrow when you talk to your own pedi; FWIW, mine said half an ounce to an ounce of prune juice in his bottle will do the trick. Mine is FF, so constipation is also common bc of the iron in it. If he eats a 4 oz. bot

DS1 was FF got constipated around 5 weeks old. We did half an ounce of apple juice in his bottle and it worked like a charm. FYI, it was a 4 ounce bottle, so we did half an ounce apple juice, 3 and a half ounces water, and normal scoops of formula.
