Hi, My name is Sadie and I've been lurking for a few days. I have a daughter that will be 1 in April. It took us 9 months to conceive her. I was on depo until August of 2012. I went to the doctor February of 2011 because I had stopped having my cycles but all of the hpt I had taken were false. I had an u/s a week later that showed I had ovarian cysts. I was scheduled for a lap because he felt that I had endometriosis. I had the lap on March 1st. It showed that I did have endometriosis, but also my left Fallopian tube was disconnected, my right one was centered, my uterus was the size of a softball AND it was flipped. He wanted me to have the surgery that does the saline, but insurance wouldn't cover it and we didn't have that kind of money.
Skip several months of trying on our own and we ended up pregnant with our dd. We actually quit trying and it just happened.
We would like another child, but we're not having the best of luck on our own. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to confront the situation. TIA!
Re: When to consult with a doctor
I'm not sure this is the right board for you. Most of us are still trying for #1.
Are you charting? How long have you been trying? There is a lot of info missing here so hard to answer your questions.
