so lately it seems like every picture I try to take of DS, he looks drunk, lol. Do you all have any tricks on getting LOs to smile for the camera?

He smiles all day long but as soon as he sees the camera he's all wiggles and closed eyes

11.2011 - DS1

02.2013 - loss at 6 wks

06.2014 - DS2

10.2015 - loss at 12 wks

03.2017 - DD

    I think is is very different for every kid. With DS, I make this specific silly sound and it makes him smile. And I'm very patient. It may take me 50 bad shots but I always eventually get a good one!

    I play peek-a-boo behind the camera and she thinks it is hilarious.  That only works if she is focused on me though.

    I find that if I don't make a big deal about taking the picture and just kind of sneak out the camera and interact with her like I normally do, it gets the best smiles. Also, being patient is so key like pp mentioned.
