DH and I aren't TTC yet but I need to get a handle on my timing (more for my peace of mind than anything right now) so I'm going to start temping with this next cycle. I got the OPK's from Amazon so I may do that too.
My question is: how accurate would it be if I have to get up with Allison once or twice a night? Some nights she sleeps like a champ, but others she has me up once or twice. The times vary, like this morning she woke up at 4:00 but DH got her (he usually isn't home so it isn't an option). If she does that tomorrow, I would be up and moving for about 10 minutes and only resting for another hour before I have to get out of bed.
Is that going to mess with my temperature? I know I've read that you should do it right away in the morning, that I can do, but what I can't always do is be "at rest" for three hours before.
Re: Temping Question
If you can't get a solid 3 hours, then I don't really think that 10 minutes your up would make all that much of a difference. Here's the link to Fertility Friend's Q&A and they have a whole section on temping.

Thanks for the link! Helpful....
I did find one that said to basically "do your best" to temp at the same time every morning despite nighttime wakeups. So I'm going with that!

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.
