I'm starting to think my baby is high maintenance after reading the ounces and day schedule posts below. It sounds like a lot of babies are sleeping longer stretches at night, are awake more during the day, and are eating more. I know every baby develops differently but I'm just curious if anyone else is having these problems.
DD will be six weeks Thursday. She wakes up every one and a half to two and a half hours at night and only eats 50-100 ML each time. She's been eating a lot less at night lately. The problem is she'll eat 50 then pass out milk drunk, but then wake up 30 min later because she's still hungry. I try to wake her, but she won't eat more. Even when she is full it can take 3 tries of putting her down to get her to sleep. She did ths as a newborn too, then stopped for two weeks and is now doing it again.
She sleeps most of the day. I've been trying to keep her up a bit, but she just gets surly. If she's not eating or sleeping she's crying. I can't play with her or read to her because she just cries or falls asleep.
Anyone else dealing with this?
