Swaddling

Our little guy will be six weeks on Wednesday. He's quite the mover and shaker even when he sleeps. We're considering stopping with swaddling. He gets arms swaddled out anyway. Just wondering when you're done swaddling what is advised to keep then warm as I know blankets aren't recommended.

    I dress ds in warm clothes. I haven't swaddled him much since he was about 2 weeks old.

    I used the halo sleep sack swaddle me with arms out last night and it worked well. Check those out  

    We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013.  We love her to pieces.  

    We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011.  She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

    And we used the cotton one as the fleece was too heavy.

    DS has never liked being swaddled and the regular sleepsacks always seem to bunch up around his face while he's in his rock n' play bassinet, so I've resorted to dressing him in a onesie under footed pajamas... sometimes with socks under the pajamas, too

    We recently stopped swaddling our 6 weeker, and he honestly doesn't sleep all that well without it, (but that might be for other reasons.) Last night, in order to get him to sleep, I swaddled him, fed him till he zonked out, then put him in his crib. T

    Does anyone know what age babies "roll over with purpose"? We were told to stop swaddling at that point. DD hasn't done this yet, but I am curious. Swaddling is the only way she will sleep right now. We will use the sleep sacks after that, but I am a litt

    We still swaddle DS. He will be 8 weeks on Weds.  If not, he flails his arms all over and wakes himself up.  I read that anywhere between 3 and 4 months is when it is recommended that you stop swaddling.  Apparently that is when the "fou

    Blanket sleepers with pjs or a onesie underneath. You can get them from Carter's for cheap!
