  DS has been distracted since about 4 months.
  
  Unless we are at home, in my bedroom and DS is tired, he only nurses maybe 3 to 5 minutes. Total. Even during the night, he's done and back asleep in about 10 minutes.

  At daycare, she gets a bottle of breastmilk every 3 hours. She drains a 5 oz bottle in about 5 minutes. When I'm with her, she does little "pop ons" every hour or so. She'll pop on for a minute then pop off. It's like she's just making sure it's still

  Like ppl said they get better at nursing as they get older. I nurse DD every 4 hours and it takes about 15 minutes total for both sides.

  I don't allow pop ons...instead I space her pit more, about four to five hours, so by the time we nurse she really wants it so she stays on. That being said she only nurses for about 10 to 15 min per session.

  DS nurses every 4-5 hours for 5-10 minutes each time, which includes both sides. His bedtime feed is usually a little longer, maybe 10-15 minutes.

  Usually 5-10 minutes max. They are so quick sometimes I worry they are not getting enough, but they have plenty of wet diapers and are full so I guess they are just quick!
