Look at this tacky shiit!

From my BMB. Unbelievable!

 

I got an invite to SIL's baby shower and not only did it "assign" a children's book I have to bring with me. it also said to "make sure to get SIL a present from where she is registered". For reals!? I'm not attending as it is in 2 weeks, 2000 miles away and this is the first I am hearing of it. I already got her a present and mailed it out so I am sure as heck not sending her my assigned book. She also invited my mom which is odd because she met my mom once at my wedding. I just find the whole thing tacky.

    I didnt make my invitations for my shower, I would assume that she didn't either.

    And I am new to all the abbreviations on here, but isn't SIL, sister in law? So wouldn't inviting the future Grandma be expected?
