black strings in poop??!?!! Whhaattt?!?!

I was changing DDs diaper the other day and noticed lots of tiny and long black string like things-- I called the doctor immediately and she said it was from bananas or fibrous foods!

Who knew?!

Anyone else experience this yet??

Seriously scared the ever living hell out of me-- I thought she had worms! But doc said worms would be 1. moving and 2. white. Gross.

    I saw the saw the same thing with DS after he had had some banana.  If I hadn't known that it would come out the other end looking like "worms" or "strings" I certainly would have freaked out.  It was bizarra looking enough that I made a special

    Totally normal when you are starting Solid food. Our LO got that when we first gave them just rice cereal. 

    Nothing to worry about.
