Ok ladies so I'm new at this formula business. I just opened my dr brown bottles with 5000 pieces. The directions say not to shake the milk because it will make bubbles. How else am I supposed to make the effin formula if I can't shake it?!!!!!! What a pita!!!!

I swirl it really vigorously. It's hard if the bottles are really full. If you do shake it and it makes bubbles, you can just let the bottle sit for a few minutes, and the bubbles will go away.

Good to know. Let me ask you a question. Let's say you are going out For the day. Do you just put the premeasured powder inside the bottle and then carry a water bottle with you?

You could use a small Rubbermaid shaker container with lid. I normally make it in that it a small pitcher and pour it into the bottle.

Ugh... so annoying. If you get a clump in the tube it creates a mess too!

Thankfully my friend who purchased these for me also bought me their travel lids (pack of 3) so we use those to shake it up. I have no idea how much they are but can't b

I make a days worth of formula with the Dr Brown's pitcher and when I absolutely have to shake up some formula, I put a drop of gas drops in the water first. Works wonders!!!

I shake them, then let it sit for a few so the bubbles go away. When we leave the house, I put water in the bottle my formula in one of those travel formula containers that have the three compartments.
