Vent/Suggestions: Selling House

Our house has been on the market for about a month now.  I desperately want to move out of our neighborhood and have been discouraged by the lack of interested in the house.

Well, we had another showing on Saturday and the agent told us that the couple is deciding between our house and one other.  Reality set in that we may actually sell our house... which should be exciting, right?  But no, I am FREAKING OUT!

I don't know what I was thinking... how am I going to pack and move 8-9 months pregnant?  and how are we going to find another house and get the timing right to sell ours and buy a new one?  I don't know what I was thinking.

After I got the news, I started looking around our house and crying just thinking about trying to pack, organize, and move.  I don't know how to do it.

So those of you who have moved lately, how did it work??  Tell me that it can be done, please!

  • We moved less than a mile away from our old place. What worked for us was for me to pack during the day and DH to help for a bit when he got home. Then we'd make a trip or two over to the new place and unload. We would leave N with a friend who lived o

  • Thanks for all the input.  Unfortunately, I work full time (plus work an additional part time job from home), so packing during the day won't happen and packing even at night is going to be really hard since that is when I get my other work done.&

  • We bought boxes from the moving company. They came out about a week before we were scheduled to move and dropped of a bunch of boxes. I also had them pack up the kitchen, since they only insured what they packed.

I agree with everyone else that
