DH wants a football team.

Before having August, DH always told me he wanted enough kids for a football team. I always laughed and just said "Yeah, we'll see how you feel after we actually have one." We had August, and DH totally recanted after about 2 weeks of little to no sleep. He loves August, and loves spending time with him, but realized that having a kid was a lot harder than he thought. He said he was fine with having only one kid. This was TOTALLY fine with me. 

Yesterday DH had the day off, so we "traded places" -- he woke up with August, fed him at each feeding, changed all the diapers, put him down for naps, all of that. I got to sleep in, take a long shower, take a nap, take the dog for a walk, it was AWESOME. 

At the end of the day I was making dinner, DH was playing with August, and he looks up at me and goes "So when can we have another one? I can't wait to have 5 kids running around our house all the time." My jaw literally dropped, and I almost dropped the ground beef I had in my hands. He said he wants to have another baby ASAP. I thought having DH be in charge of August all day would totally cement his stance on one and done. 

Apparently not.

Anyone else's DH/SO surprise them like that? I'm still kind of shell shocked.

    I will say when we got our surprise back in December I totally expected DH to have a bit of a meltdown freak out type of thing. He had said from the day we finally got Aiden out of the NICU that it was too stressful and he wanted to be done.<

    DH always said that we could have as many kids as I wanted. Then, we had DS1, and he still said, "Yup, as many kids as you'd like." Then, we had 2U2, and he was like, "WE ARE SOOOOOO DONE".

    My SO is the opposite. He has always told me that we could have "as many kids as I wanted as long as we could afford them." Now, he's like, "One more and we're done, regardless of the sex."

    I'm ready to start having more babies like, yesterday. But husband had to wait for "the perfect conditions" to have this one. He keeps saying he's too old to have children (really dude, do you not know how this works?!) He's 34, I'm 28. I want at least
