I have some questions for you ladies.
1. The first is directed towards those of you (especially BTDT moms) who live in cold climates. And I mean cold, like "today it's -40C, but feels like -50 with the windchill" (that's -40F and -58F respectively).
I am a very outdoorsy sorta person, and plan on taking baby outside every day--sleet, snow, hail or otherwise. Given that we're giving birth in September, LO will be spending its first few months in some bitter winter conditions. I want to know if anyone has any good ideas for snuggly stroller sleeping bag type things. And what are they called? I'm looking for the sort that will be waterproof and lined with sheepskin or some other natural thermal material. Our stroller itself is probably not built for the rough Canadian elements, so I want the baby to be as snuggly as possible.
2. For Canadians in general, is there a website where you can find out if products are safe according to Canadian regulations? My DH is from the states, and we really wanted to register (or outright purchase ourselves) some of the higher ticketed items from across the border to save some money. But I'm worried that some things like car seats may have different regulations down south than in Canada. Do you have any experience or advice?
That's it
Re: Two questions for northerners and Canadians in general

Check out health Canada for rules on importing items. It will help immensely! Ca
