Hi there ladies! I haven't been around here since shortly after DD was born, so I thought I would do a little re-intro and then I have a question for you. DD was born last March, and we just celebrated her 1st birthday. I can't believe how quickly the year has gone by! I used to hang out on TTC >35 and PG >35. We currently trying to decide if we even want to try for #2 (and I have just been over lurking on the one and done board). Hope to be around here again more!
On to the question: DH rarely gets home from work until 6-6:30 pm. DD needs to eat around 5:30-6. As she eats more and more of the same foods we do, it is getting harder to make 2 dinners every night. Should I try to make dinner early for DD and reheat it for us to eat when DH gets home? Should I eat with DD? Should I just give DD leftovers from the night before?? I don't really want either of them to eat alone, but not sure the best way to resolve this... Thanks in advance!

We feed our girls around 5:45 or 6, they either get leftovers from the dinner the night before or just easy stuff to make. I usually cook vegetables (steamed broccoli, roasted butternut squash, mashed sweet potatoes) on the weekend and just dole
i would def. try to set up family dinner. you wont regret it. your times are only off by an hour at most. give the little one a light snack at 5 and eat as a family at 6:30. it may take a few weeks to get everyone on the same sc
