Whenever I sit or stand or walk around my leg starts to feel numb. I get that pins and needles feeling, like when I wake up after sleeping on my arm or something. It is a terrible feeling and whenever I poke the numb leg I barely feel it on my skin. Its always my left leg and its never discolored or swollen. I read something about the baby pinching the sciatic nerve but my pregnancy book said it was a symptom that usually happens third trimester. Anyone else know how to sooth it or make it happen less often. I usually try to move positions but that doesn't always work.
