Good morning ladies. I am mostly a lurker these days as I spend most of my time on August 13 prepping for LO #2 but I wanted to ask you ladies a question about pacifiers because our LO's are around the same age. DS is 20 months old and admittedly we have waited too long to take away his pacifier. He only has it at night in his crib but I have been resisting taking it away because he sleeps 14 hours per night. Any tips/tricks on getting rid of it? We plan to go cold turkey and not look back. Any advice is much appreciated, thanks!

We took the nuk from both of our girls at 15 months, cold turkey. At that point they only had it in the crib/long car trips. It went differently for each of them.
DD1 we took hers then because we were due with #2 in a few months and I wanted it g

I've heard a lot of people putting a pin sized hole in the pacifier, then it doesn't suck the same. They still get the pacifier but it doesn't satisfy them the way it once did and they wean almost immediately.
