Eye drainage

DD just started having some pus in her eye yesterday.  It's most noticeable after naps / waking up, and it's mostly from the corners of her eyes. She doesn't seem bothered by it, maybe occasionally she rubs her eyes, but that's about it.  They don't seem too pink/red around the eye.  She also has just developed a really runny nose too, but she doesn't have a fever.

She's had pink eye before, but she also had an ear infection that led to the same kind of symptoms.  But, apparently at least one kid at daycare just had pink eye.  

Right now I don't know whether or not to take her to the doctor to have them check it out or wait it out.  I'll probably have to take her in just to get a diagnosis before daycare will be alright with taking her back, but I was wondering if anyone else has had a LO with these symptoms and what it turned out to be.

    DS has had it with both pink eye and with sinus infections. With pink eye his eyes were really irritated but with the sinus infection they were just goopy. DD gets it with any amount of congestion or ear infection.

    Same exact thing happened with DD last week.  Noticed some tearing on Sunday and a little bit of yellow goop.  On Monday morning her eye was worse and looked a little pink.

    I knew that daycare would not take her because it might be pink
