I little 6#14oz late-term preemie (we joke about this, but with 5'9" and 6'5" parents, our less than 37w was what we thought was small when she was born) is 5 months today.
She has had teething issues for about 6 weeks and in the past 2 they've been on/off swollen and she's fisting her own, our fingers, or any toy she can grab. Have tried Hylands tabs..not sold on them, the Amber necklace may help, but Tylenol def does.
Typically, Grace would sleep 8 to 3ish, have 5 oz and back to sleep 'til 7. The past 3 nights, she's woken up at midnight, I've given her 5 oz and they woken at 3:30 and had 4 oz. To help pain through the night, I put 1/2 dose Tylenol in each her 8p and 3a bottles.
Her normal bottles (before this week) have all been 5 oz and given at 3a, 7:30a, 11a, 2p, 5p, and 7:30p. We added pureed veggies 2 wks ago and has 1 oz (swallowing less, of course) after her 5p bottle.
G is 5 mon today, 26", and 17.25#. Does she need more than the 30 oz? She is very active (always has been), but does have the cute big cheeks, extra chin, and chunky legs. Don't want to overfeed her, but not sure if the twice a night waking is due to teething or hunger. At naptimes, she falls asleep with a binky in 5 mins, then I take it out and lay her down. She won't do this at night.
Thoughts? Thanks!
