We will be taking a trip to FL in a few weeks. It occurred to me today, that I don't know what to do with DD when we eat at a restaurant. We aren't bringing the stroller due to lack of space. We are using a convertible carseat, so we won't have a carrier. She is nowhere near being able to sit unassisted, which they need to be able to do in those standard wooden highchairs. A lot of the restaurants down there only have bench (picnic table) or booth seating, so the option to bring the portable highchair that straps to a chair isn't an option either. We considered buying an umbrella stroller when we got down there, but they sit so low to the ground that we wouldn't be able to see her very well.
Any ideas? A bumbo would be ok I guess if we were in a booth, but not for a backless bench.

I have both a hook-on high chair (similar to the Amazon link) that works well because they sit deeper and the My Little Seat. I love them both.
If I had to pick for your trip, I'd go with the hook-on though because you need to be able to si
