bridesmaid's dress issue-David's Bridal

My friend is getting married at the end of June and I will be 29 weeks pregnant. We had to buy our dresses a year early, because they told her that they would be doing a close out on the style of the dress. Low and behold they have and her color is completely out of stock in the clearance dresses. My dress is already a size too small and I am only 15 weeks. 

Does anyone know if Davids bridal sells their fabric? They still carry dresses in the fabric and color, just not the style. I have an appointment on Wednesday and I am hoping that they can work something out...Uggh...Buying a bridesmaids dress a year in advance is just crazyness.

    I'm almost positive they do. I know I was able to buy ribbon in the fabric color. And I think I remember my mother's coworker talking about needing to do that for her daughter. I hope they can help you out.

    Good luck! Your best bet is to pose your question during your appointment. Also, you could dial up customer service and ask them what they can do for you.

    they sell DB dresses and might still have some.  I bought a bridesmaid dress from here and it was perfect, color and fit was perfect.  They're cheaper, too.  They will probably definitely have the

    I'd also check eBay and bridal consignment shops or websites, you never know who might be looking to sell the dress you need in that color a few sizes bigger than what you purchased last year.

    They might make you have alterations done there, but they will definitely have the fabric (obviously)

    Honestly, this was really the only thing that she has been ridiculous about, otherwise she has been pretty relaxed about everything.

    A year early is crazy!!  The only thing you can do is ask.  Or if the bride will allow maybe get another dress in the same fabric just a different style.  Can't hurt to ask either question.  Good luck!

    Most bridal companies have extra fabric available for purchase, even if it has been discontinued.

     

    I would call today, though. Just beware that the die lot may be a bit different, but probably not enough to notice.
