Passover starts tomorrow at sundown

Passover starts tomorrow at sundown! We started cooking today because it's a huge dinner. I made Haroses which is one of the yummiest foods we eat. In it are raw almonds and apples choped super fine, raw sugar, honey, cinnamon, and red wine.

Dinner is matzo ball soup, beef briscut, asparagus, and new potatoes. Desert are homemade meringues with ice cream and strawberries.

If only I could drink the four glasses of wine tomorrow!

Anyway, happy almost Passover!

That sounds delicious and makes me wish I was Jewish.  Although that would probably be a pretty shallow reason

  • Kimbus, you just need to make some Jewish friends who will invite you over for Passover dinner! haha!

Rachey, your dinner sounds delicious!  My kid is a sucker for a good brisket!

  • Ooooh, that sounds wonderful. We aren't Jewish, but we celebrated Passover with close Jewish friends several times when I was younger. I have some very fond memories of both the food and the experience as a whole. Enjoy!
