Catholic churches don't even have nursery areas, generally. There is just a little entrance with glass doors you can stand in if you're kid starts losing his mind, but there aren't speakers or anything, so you're just standing there. That's where I was

That is awesome!! Sadly my church is so small I am the only person with a baby, so when I say I'm in the nursery I mean I'm sitting in a Sunday school room that isn't being used.
we're not plugged in at the church we go to either so i'm not fully ready to leave her alone yet myself. we stopped going for that same reason. we're about ready to go now that she is awake longer periods etc. church is right in her o

Our church is very child friendly. The kids just sit with everyone else even if they get cranky or loud. If D gets loud I just take him and walk around behind the pews. We have a cry room but its mostly used for overflow/ late comers.
We skipped today, but when we go our church has a cry room that I used when Carson was really little. Now he goes to the nursery during the service. We have to scan our card when we in, check him in on the computer and it gives us a printed sticker for him
Our Catholic church has 2 cry rooms. But you are encouraged to not stay there the whole time. V sits nicely but gets a little loud with the babbling. Not crying though. But yesterday someone a few rows back shhh'd us. We made it through the homily and lef
I was so excited to have made it through Sunday School AND Relief Society this morning. DH took Mina out near the end of Sunday School because she started screaming. She napped through half of sacrament meeting. It was a pretty good morning at church!

I couldn't really tell who it was. Someone a few pews away. I gave a dirty look in the vicinity. It was close to the end and she was about done. Palm Sunday is a long mass.
ETA I meant to quote Kiki's response to me.
Our church is pretty young, with a lot of kids. There are about 150 kids, and only 250 adults. Most are babies thru elementary school. We have nurseries staffed by volunteers, mostly parents but some young singles or married couples without kids do it too
We have a nursery at my parish. There's about three or four ladies that volunteer to run it, but I've never left Gio there. I don't know them and even though I'm sure they're fine, since they take care of everyone else's kids, I'm not comfortable leaving
We got dd baptized but our kids are like wolfs at church!!!!!! It's so bad so we stopped gpi when our last child was a baby... Almost five years ago. Were bad catholics .
