Bleeding after sex!

Hello ladies,

I just experienced bleeding after sex.  It seems to be done now but I'm definitely worried. I had some pretty bad cramps on saturday, much worse than any period cramps, but the two might not be related. I have read this can happen and you just need to hold off on sex for a while. 

I plan on calling my Dr. In the morning, but I was just wondering if you all had any insight.

    i wouldnt say that the two are unrelated. but i would definitely be more concerned with the severe cramping/bleeding you felt on saturday. 

    sex can soften/weaken the cervix allowing minor amounts of blood to pass through after intercourse an

    Dont worry that is perfectly normal. I would bleed after sex pretty often when I was in the first trimester. Most likely the bleeding is coming from your cervix. It gets sensitive when your pregnant and if something irritates it, I.e. sex, it will bleed s

    Bleeding after sex is normal if the bleeding lasts for more than 24 hours then you should be concerned.  I know it is scary to see blood but try to take deep breaths and stay calm.  If you really feel nervous call your dr and get an appointment,

    It is very normal to have bleeding and cramping after sex. I have had some bleeding recently and even though mine is not associated with sex, they say that is normal. Still I would call your Dr. if nothing else for peace of mind.

    Same thing happened to me on Friday, went to the doc today and everything is fine. If you're worried just have your hcg checked and you should be know if things are progressing by checking that.
