Who saw Les Mis?

What did you think? DH and I just watched it last night on BluRay. We thought Russell Crow really sucked but liked everyone else a lot. (Amanda Seyfried was a bit anemic, but it wasn't that dynamic of a part, anyway.) It was good enough that we were both clutching tissues and dabbing our eyes at the end.

Anyone else?

  • ME hated to love it, and Loved to hate russell crow. I had a few criticisms,  but Over all mesmerizing and could watch it over and over.

    Original JVJ is Colm Wilkinson, amazing!!!!!  

    Samantha Berks was Eponine was great.  

    The standard ballads were great.

  • Saw it in theaters. I have never seen it onstage and had only seen the Liam Neeson/Uma Thurman version, which was not a musical...at all. I am obviously in the minority, but I did not think Russell Crowe was terrible. I thought the film was beautifully do
