DIY Birthday gift help

DH's birthday is this week, and we have had a lot of curveballs thrown our way in the past couple months so we are broke, and unfortunatly, I can't really afford to buy him a nice gift. My mind is blank right now and I am having a hard time coming up with any kind of cutsy, do it yourself gift to give him from me and ds. Any ideas/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

    I'm not very crafty, so my first thought was that you could wake him up in the morning with a bj and cook him his favorite dinner that night. That would be enough for my dh. From your lo? I'd make a card with traced handprints, that's a classic.

    There's always the coupon idea. You know what he wants so you can give him several and he can redeem them when he wants. Even silly things like "Get Out of One Chore Free" so that he can turn that coupon in and watch TV while you take out the garbage that
