On the subject of Thank You Cards...

If several co-workers went in on a group gift for my shower, is it necessary to write a separate thank you card to each individual, or is a card for all of them sufficient. There were 4 groups of 3-4 people in different departments that went in on several larger ticket items for my shower, and I don't want to offend anyone.

What is the right thing to do?

    Personally I would write individual thank you notes

    Agree with PPs, each person needs their own handwritten thank you.

    The only other thing I have heard of besides writting personal thank you notes is wirting one to the whole group accompanied by "thank you" cookies/donuts. Even though it is against the standard this is something I would probably do this only because
