Cervical dilation pain?

I'm 33 weeks and 3 days. I'm on pelvic rest because my son is 'engaged' and completely in my birth canal according to my midwife and I'm 1 cm dilated and 50 effaced. Well today and a couple times every day just about, I get painful menstrual like cramps that will come and go but today they were really painful, also with bad nausea. Also a lottttt of rectal and pelvic pressure. And I've had these dilation pains for weeks and weeks now but today they are stronger and almost painful. They're pretty bad. It's like someone I forcing my cervix open and it really hurts. And it is happening constantly not just every now and then. Any ideas what it is?? And since my cramps aren't really regular and close together do I need to go to LD or would it be fine to just put in a call to my obgyn office tomorrow

    Does your OB have an after hours / weekend number to get a hold of the on call doc?  because I definitely would not wait to get in touch with somebody, with the symptoms you've described.

    No I've asked a hundred times and they all tell me there is no after hours number : most people dot believe me but its true. I tried calling LD but the automated service says they can't give advice over the phone. I hate it :/ my mom says to wait and see

    I would just go to LD.

    TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

    Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

    Preterm labor doesn't always act like full term labor, and being 33 weeks you don't want to wait until its like real labor cause then its too late to stop. Go to the ER

    You should call or go in ASAP!  I just got home from our labor and delivery class and you have listed multiple symptoms off the list of call/go to L&D ASAP!

    Yeah, I recognized the name right away. I knew it was that same girl... who knows maybe she is real and telling the truth. Young and clearly not taking things too seriously... but probably real. I hope she went to the doctor too.
