Sometimes I feel like we are alone in our decision to be one and done.
We have lots of reasons but the main one being I had wicked wicked post partum depression and insomnia with our LO and my doc says I will more than likely experience it with a second baby and it could not go away that time as it's in my family history for women to develop chronic depression after giving birth and I don't want to risk it.
I am happy with our choice as I know it will be fulfilling and it will afford us the life we invision for our son and ourselves but sometimes I get a bit sad that this is our only baby but then I just try to remind myself of how bat sh*t crazy I went, the sleepless months, and the cost of two in daycare and I feel better ...
What was your main deciding reason?
