Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

sleepytime troubles!

oh my goodness! as I type this, my little guy is crying in his crib. it is his naptime. this is how it has been for the past month! he is starting to cry again before he falls asleep for both bed & naps. I know that sleep regression happens as they learn new things but I am going a little crazy. (& I am positive that CPS is going to show up on my doorstep one of these days because my neighbors can hear him crying.) what helped you? how long does this last?

  • I think most would agree that we need more information than this to help you the best way we can. :-) How old is your LO? Are they on two naps or one? Just because it's "naptime" doesn't necessarily mean they're tired. Or maybe he's overtired? Tell us mor

  • I find it's trying to find that 'perfect' time--- if he's too sleepy then it's insanity to get him to sleep.  Having said that, nap isn't horrible--but bedtime is.  It takes me putting him back in to his bed about 8-12 times every night.&nbsp
