    The initial test is not a fasting test. Nothing you do today, tomorrow or the day of the test. I drank sweet tea all morning and ate pecan praline cheesecake about an hour before my test. I passed.

    You're fine to have coffee now. But you really should ask a nurse or doctor whether they want you to fast or not. My doctor said nothing to eat after 12 am that night before the test which was at 830 am.

    You should definitely eat & drink normal because you don't want to trick the test is what I heard from several. I'd ask your doc what they want you to do about fasting! I was told to fast an hour before my 1 hour. My appt was at 8 am so I ate norma
