question about low fluid

I have an appoinment on tuesday and two weeks ago the doctor said I had low amniotic fluid what does this mean?

  • Your doctor should have given you a lot more information than this.  Obviously it means exactly what it sounds like- you have low fluid.  What that means going forward, I am not sure, but you need to find out.

  • Aside from the obvious it is not good news. Baby needs an appropriate amount of AF to maneuver into birthing position, and for putting his/her lungs and digestive tract into use (practicing for life on the outside). Keep in mind that as the baby drinks

  • I'd call your doctor soon. Ask them what it means in your specific case. Sending vibes it's nothing crazy.
