Spotting at 5 weeks

Hey all. I know it's fairly common to spot, so I'm not completely worried, but since this is my first time, I thought I'd get your opinions. I'm in my 5th week and today I noticed some light pink on the toilet paper when I wiped - a few different times. Late in the evening, I noticed the pink had turned brown and a little thicker and at some point I had bled enough to stain a small section of my underwear. It was more red, I think, but it was drying so it was hard to tell.  Should I call my doctor on Monday as a precaution? Any others with a similar experience? Thanks in advance.

    Spotting can be normal, but I would call and let the doctor know.

    I had spotting and then some when I was 5 weeks, 5 days. I was really scared bc it was more red than brown. I called my doctor and suggest you do too and went there for a checkup the next day. The doctor said the blood she saw was brown and that it was ol

    I had pink bleeding that after turned brown a week ago at 5 weeks 6 days but went in saw a baby with a heartbeat and all has been fine since. Call ask :

    Thanks, everyone.  I'll call the doctor first thing Monday morning.  Until then, I'll try not to worry or freak out.  Thanks again.

    Well, the pinkish/brown has now turned red and it's similar to when I'm on my period but more clottish(if that is even a word).  It's not constant.  Tomorrow morning can't come soon enough.  I'm staying positive, as much as one can, but it'
