Spotting at 5 weeks

Hey all. I know it's fairly common to spot, so I'm not completely worried, but since this is my first time, I thought I'd get your opinions. I'm in my 5th week and today I noticed some light pink on the toilet paper when I wiped - a few different times. Late in the evening, I noticed the pink had turned brown and a little thicker and at some point I had bled enough to stain a small section of my underwear. It was more red, I think, but it was drying so it was hard to tell.  Should I call my doctor on Monday as a precaution? Any others with a similar experience? Thanks in advance.

  • Spotting can be normal, but I would call and let the doctor know.

  • Well, the pinkish/brown has now turned red and it's similar to when I'm on my period but more clottish(if that is even a word).  It's not constant.  Tomorrow morning can't come soon enough.  I'm staying positive, as much as one can, but it'
