May 2012 Babies

What's new with our little babes this week?

DD is trying to stand on her own now. She'll pull herself up let go with one hand, then the other, teeter for about 2 seconds then fall to her butt and laugh hysterically.

She's starting to learn the rules of the house apparently; if the dogs are wrestling inside she'll get a really angry face and crawl towards them yelling until they stop. It's absolutly hilarious.

On the not so fun side, we had a terrible night last night so I called the clinic emerg line since she woke up screaming bloody murder like I have never heard before and was clutching her ears. She was totoally inconsolable for about 2 hours then continued to wake up every 30mins or so crying. We've been battling ear infections for 5 weeks now. We thought it was 3 ear infections but from what I've told the doc, she now thinks it could be just 1 that didn't resolve with any of the 3 antibiotics we were given. So that means she has a check up tomorrow morning and if she DOES still have an infection, we have to see a specialist. *sigh* I really don't want this to end in ear tubes. :(
