What do you know about reflux?

I plan to call our Pedi b/c our LO is spitting up WAY more than usual. He's not fussy, but I'm a little worried. We BF and supplement a few ounces later in the day. Can it be something I am eating?

  • WIth us, Mr. C was spitting up but it wasn't some freakish amount. He was also a happy spitter. It never upset him. I thought he had reflux because I would often see and here him regurgitate and when it would come up/he would swallow it he would whine

  • My DD has had reflux since she was about a month old. She is a happy spitter. It doesn't bother her, but she is slowly gaining weight due to the large amount she spits up. My pedi isn't concerned and isn't medicating her. She sleeps in the RnP and I keep

  • I was just about to post a practically identical question, OP, but my DS is NOT a happy spitter.  He fusses before, during, and after (though not all of the time) he spits and the volume of spit up has increased dramatically in the last week.

  • Because he is not fussy it could simply be due to excess teething saliva. Also, they are starting to move more, which can also push food up
