BF and not eating

DS2 is about 15 months. His eating goes up and down and he loves pasta but not much else. I don't know if its because he nurses so much. He nurses on demand 1012 times a day. He only has 6 teeth too. Any thoughts suggestions on how to increase his intake? Should I put pasta sauce on everything to get him to eat more? I would like to stop nursing at 18 months. I have some medical issues I've put on hold because of nursing. Not life threatening but I've been feeling depressed which is associated with it and just want to be able to treat it. But I'm worried he won't eat well when I stop

    My dd was not a huge eater until she got her molars, around 17 months old. I just keep/kept giving a variety of options and would try to get her to eat before nursing. Now she is down to only nursing for naps/sleeping and is a pretty good eater.

    DS started really eating of his own accord around 18 months. So I offered food for a YEAR before he really cared.

    Just keep offering a wide variety of foods, and it will probably work itself out in the next few months. I would put pasta sauce on
