So my dh has truly been great with Liam but today he mentioned how he's feeling alittle depressed. He said (over and over) how much he loves Liam but that he just feels sortof stuck because there so little time in the day, so little time for us to be together to talk, dtd, hang out, and he's frustrated at work. This is the second or third time he's been feeling like this and has told me about it right away but I can't help but feel sad about it. I know he doesn't truly wish things were different, I can see that when he interacts with Liam or sees him exploring or learning.
Our family isn't helpful so we don't have anyone besides our dcp that we can leave Liam with.
He's always struggled with his place in the world because he never feels successful at anything ( he's prone to depression and anxiety).
Sorry to be kind of sad, I usually try not to be but its how I'm feeling right now and I don't want to tell him (yet) because he already feels so down that I don't want to add to it.

That's tough. I'm sorry you're dealing with that. it's such an adjustment to have a baby and you still have to have all the pressures of real life. I think it's easier for moms than dads. Hopefully he can work through his feelings and start to feel bet
