Been tracking my levels for about a week now. I started spotting about a week and a half ago, only pantyliner amounts, not pads. No pain, no clots, etc. Multiple positive HPT. My LMP was 9 days late and started March 4th and lasted 4 days....then on 3/14 (Thurs) I took my 1st HPT and that's when this roller coaster started....

Fri-450 (different lab)
Two transvaginal u/s....showed nothing conclusive, neither in my uterus or my tubes.
They did get my progesterone level and it is only 3.2, which the doctor said is entirely too low for a normal pregnancy, she said at LEAST 5 is what they want right now.
My doctors are really pushing me to take methotrexate and terminate what they are calling an abnormal pregnancy. They said there is no way there's anything normal going on and I should just terminate in case it's ectopic. Has anyone else handled this or been through this?
I'm not comfortable just arbitrarily taking this and the side effects sound absolutely awful, not to mention the emotional pain. This is my first pregnancy and I'd really love some words of wisdom or advice.

That's what I haven't been understanding either. If I'm only 19 days pregnant I shouldn't really even get an HPT positive.
They didn't offer anything to raise my progesterone, just made me feel like a hassle for NOT immediately terminating
I should note that yesterday my family dr. advised me to see an OB at the specialty office. The OB that I was scheduled with then called and told me to just go to the ER because based on my labs/1st U/S she couldn't do anything different at the office.

You aren't pregnant at all if you are on CD 19. Most people O between CD13-20...and then yo
That's very strange then...I don't know what their reasons are for thinking it could be ectopic either that early. And yes Hershey should have the best drs, I'm also not sure what the ER could do this early as well that the doctors could not to j

You should seek a second opinion/second ultrasound and another round of labs ASAP.
That being said, "ectopic" does not always mean "in your tubes" (see diagram below). There are several types of ectopic pregnancies and if nothing is visible in th
I do not completely know the details, however, there have been incidences where doctors have been wrong. I agree with the posters that say you should get a second opinion or wait until you know for sure. Sometimes stuff also can clear up on its own.</p
here's my story, since it sounds similar to yours, minus all of the hcg numbers:
regular period began oct 12th
spotting/light bleeding (with what i thought was a period) started a month later and lasted 3 weeks off and on in varying strengt
i had the same happen, including bright red spotting in my 4th week (how far along ar eyou exactly?) but with mine i had sudden SEVERE left side pain-- i was in the ER and had constant morphine which did not dull the pain. If it's suspecte
Having been through 4 losses myself, there is no way, IMO, that this is a viable pregnancy. Progesterone will only prolong a pregnancy that is not viable, assuming it is in your uterus. If it is a tubal pregnancy, you are risking your health and your f
