one or two??

OK on the 1st of April I do my bloodwork and transfer 3-5 days later hopefully.  These are donor embryos.  I just wondered anyone who has done Donor egg or embryo how many did you transfer 1 or 2.  And if pregnancy was successful was it a single or multiple?  Trying to make a decision.  Twins would be fine.  I just wondered what kind of success others had....

  • If you are okay with multiples, I would do two. We transferred two high quality blasts and one "took" (despite it struggling). Everyone has different opinions on this decision, so you'll have to decide what is right for you. You may want to ask your RE ab

  • I've had 3 donor embryo transfers.  Each time we transferred 2.  The first time I was pregnant with a singleton but miscarried at 10 weeks due to Turner Syndrome.  The second transfer was BFN.  The third transfer resulted in DS.

  • We used DE and opted for an elective single embryo transfer which was successful.  We knew it was a gamble and were sick to find out that we had nothing to freeze, but it turned out to be the right decision for us.
