Worst mother of the year?

So... I am thinking about going to a rock concert when I'm 36 weeks. It's a favorite artist of mine, and I have never missed a concert when he's been in town. I will of course ask my doc for her blessing, but I am wondering if you ladies would side-eye a very pregnant woman for exposing the fetus to all that noise?

  • Why would this matter? You are pregnant, not an invalid. Enjoy the concert. I would not side eye a pregnant lady at a rock concert.

  • We're big concert-goers, and we're going to Chicago to see Pearl Jam at Wrigley when I'll be 36 weeks. My sister is an OB and my dad's a pediatrician; they both say the baby is under so much soundproofing and won't mind at all.

  • It is always a good idea to get the OK from your Dr. first. I mean, as long as you aren't shotgunning beers, crowd surfing and trying to make out with the bass player, I think side-eyeing will be kept to a minimum. :-)

    In all seriousness, I'd jus

  • It seems like I always see a super pregnant lady at concerts and always think she's awesome! I would go, my only concern would be how you feel that close. From about 34 weeks on I was pretty miserable and by 36 weeks I was on bed rest so I wouldn't have m
