So, here's how my Friday is going so far...(vent)

Leaving the grocery store, about noon, R is crying that he "want to go home" and "no more shopping"...H is more than ready for her next bottle but thankfully being good...

Some stupid *&#^%$^% pulls out in front of me in the parking lot and I smash into her.  I'm in an SUV, she's in a Ford Contour.  Much more damage to her car, both are still driveable, but I AM PISSSSSSSSSSSED.  Actually, BEYOND PISSED.  I am cursing a blue streak at her, she admits it was her fault, I'm screaming that I have 2 kids in the car, etc.  It was not a pretty sight, I'm sure.  But, she gave me her insurance info, I took a TON of pics (my car, her car & license plate, the "scene") and now I have to deal with the hassle of getting the damage fixed, figuring out either a loaner or rental car, either of which is going to be a PITA with 2 carseats to configure...I SO hope my insurance company goes after hers for the damage AND I better get 2 new carseats out of this!!!!!! 

I was at the grocery store mostly to talk to my Mom (she works there) b/c I saw some posts on FB about my great uncle passing away and I hadn't heard anything from my Mom about it...come to find out, he fell at home (lives alone in a cabin in the woods) and broke his hip but no one found him for at least a day after it happened.  Had surgery to fix it, went to a nursing home, and died a couple days later.  I didn't know him that well, but still.  It's my Grandpa's younger brother, and it's a big deal!  

Anyway, sorry to vent, but this just hasn't been the best day.  Plus, it's nearly the end of March and IT'S STILL F***ING SNOWING here.  H is crying and won't nap, and I need a DRINK!

    omg, what an ordeal! I'm glad you all are ok though.

    I'm so sorry to hear about your great uncle - that is so very sad. 

    I hope you can have a drink & relax a bit tonight after the kids are asleep!

    Boo!  Glad you're ok though.  

    FWIW we're going to get 6"-10" of snow tonight/tomorrow and we were supposed to go to an egg hunt in the park.  I usually love weekend snow but I really wanted to see J go nuts at the egg hunt - last

    Ugh, I would be so pissed about the car.  I'm sorry!  Can you pop in a movie and snuggle with the kiddos?

    Did you call the police? It may be different there but here you have to have a police report to file a claim

    Thank you ladies!  It wasn't a great day to be sure...and now I'm getting a cold sore on my lip from the stress...

    EMO--I WOULD NOT handle it well if we were supposed to get that much snow at this point....I'd probably pack my things
