Sfm: tongue tie, sticking tongue out
Ok, so Amir is just now fully sticking his tongue out. Its going past his lips. I know because of the tongue tie it will a dip [slight heart shape]. I'm wondering should I t try again to convince hubs to get it snipped. He eats really well no choking and babbles well. I'm just nervous.
Any moms if tongue tie babies, what are your thoughts

When Amir was, I think, 3wks we took him to the ENT. He said if at 6m it affected his eating to make am appt to get out snipped. His is in the back so it would require going under. Which I think is why hubs is so stubborn about not doing the surgery.

DS was slightly tongue tied and had it snipped at about a month old. The Dr said it's a lot easier to get done when they're little.

My DS has tongue tie as well. We are getting it snipped on April 2nd. Honestly, I think you should get it fixed. Not getting it fixed will lead to speech impediment issues further down the road.
