Book Recommendations for Tantrums, etc

Hello! I'll be joining you ladies in a couple of months. I've started to notice my DS has a bit of a temper. Ex- recently he couldnt have my DH's dish and he clenched his fist and looked straight at him and growled! It was funny but made me realize I needed to figure out how to deal with this before he gets much older. I was thinking of getting Happiest Toddler on the Block but wanted to get some opinions from those of you dealing with similiar tempered toddlers. Thanks!

    I really liked Happiest Toddler, Playful Parenting, and my favorite was Raising Your Spirited Child. They are good at both explaining why the kids are doing what they are, but also how to make it better.

    DD used to growl at me. I would get down to her level and tell her to "speak sweetly" and I would also catch her when she was speaking sweetly and tell her "oh you're speaking sweetly" so she knew what to do.
