2 ounces in 10 days

DD had her 1 month check up today, everything was good except weight gain. She only gained 2 ounces in 10 days!! Ughh! She's still not at birth weight.... Shes had trouble nursing this week, I would nurse for and hr. and she'd still not be satisfied. My LC is hoping its just because of my mastitis/stress. LC called her a high maintenance eater....great LOL. To give myself a break I can ONLY nurse for 30 mins then she gets about an ounce and a half if formula. We go back in a week for a weight check. They keep telling me it will get better once she's hit birth weight but I'm not convinced! OY VAY!!

I'm sorry. I know this stuff can be stressful. Hopefully she gains the weight and your stress & mastitis are gone soon. *hugs*

I had the same issue with DS so they had me pump and give him 1 1/2-2oz of BM after every feeding and that did the trick as we had trouble BFing. Do you have a pump? If so I'd do that instead of formula as it still gets babe the good stuff and you don't h
