5 month wakeful?

Anyone's LO have a 5-month wakeful instead of 4?  DS has been waking every 2 hours for the past few weeks.  He was sick (cold and ear infection) but now is better for the most part.  It's killing me!  I BF at every waking, but he sometimes just suckles and doesn't always eat a lot.  Do I just wait it out?  Anyone been through this at 5 months?

    We've been doing this since 3
    Months and now were over four. Have random weeks of better sleep and then it starts again. Uhh.

    We did.  4 months came and went with him still STTN.  I thought we were going to escape it.  Then a cold, followed by 5m wakeful and now what I think is 6 month growth spurt.  Ugh.  Hoping it ends soon.

    I know it's hard to go by time for each LO's wakeful period.  It's killing me though!  Last night I went to sleep at 8:30, and I do feel a lot better today.  He was up 4 times last night, his longest stretch was 3 hours.  We'll get the
