what is my doctor not telling me?

I just had my 20 week ultrasound and the doctor that did it got very quite and  looked worried, after a couple minute he looks at me and tells me that my daughter is 4 OZ. under weigh and head down and engaged, I'm not sure if I should be worried or if he was just being over worried!  I'm more then a little confused

  • Did you not ask more questions about what you were told? The 4oz underweight would have me wondering. Being head down is no big deal--baby is flipping all the time. Being angaged could change too....I'd think?

  • Please update. I am hoping all is well, but curious what is going on...did you call? What did they say? According to my book "Your Pregnancy Week by Week" 20 weeks should weigh 9oz, but you have probably looked this up by now. Have you had any MC symptoms

  • Having been through quite a few experiences myself I'd suggest you call the doctor and ask questions. If you feel unsatisfied with the answers then you can go to another doctor for a second opinion. A baby being under weight can mean that you

  • I've had the crappiest docs on the earth. They do exist out there, so as the patient who wants the baby to be as healthy as possible the mom has to step up ask questions. Don't leave it to him to tell you in his own good time.
