To those of you with PCOS some hope. BFP mentioned

I have always been a huge lurker here but had never posted. Part of that was because posting finally formally acknowledged the problem that I do not ovulate on my own and have to have help conceiving. It seemed like such an odd concept that people who are responsible mature adults who can and will care so for a baby have such a difficult time just doing the basics of procreation. I have struggled with highly irregular periods sometimes going a whole year without one for all of my life so I knew deep down that getting pregnant on my own was going to be a really big challenge. The first go round we went 8 months trying unprotected and then given my history I was referred to a RE out o Jacksonville. I was so lucky and shell shocked when I found out I was expecting my first son who is now 14 months old after one cycle of letrozole and hcg trigger. I had told myself that it wasn't going to work and that I would have to have IVF like my sister. But, God had a different plan. We knew we wanted Grayson to have a sibling , and I met again with my RE two months ago. He was both encouraging and realistic saying some people who try to have their second its am easy go because of their body resetting itself but some people don't because their hormones are completely out of whack. I never had a ppd until I used proverb about 1112 months post partum. I started back on same routine hcg trigger and letrozole with times inter course and first cycle was a BFN. The second cycle when I got my follicles checked they weren't quite mature so he put me back on letrozole for two more days for them to continue to mature. I thought for sure at that point the cycle was a wash. That and the fact that during ovulation and 6 days of my TWW I had bronchitis, laryngitis, and pharyngitis... I was supposed to test Friday and surprisingly had been so patient. My 13
Month old had tossed all my FRER in the toilet this week so all I had was one clear blue digital. I Again was shocked to see pregnant pop up because I thought for sure it was a wash. I just wanted to share this to give other people who are PCOS/annovulation some hope and even for others dealin with IF some hope to know that sometimes even if things seem they are going completely wrong, it can still turn out right! You are all an amazing inspiration and I hope and pray each one of you gets the family you have been dreaming of soon.

You claim you're a huge lurker, you'd know better if that was true. "Messages of hope" from someone with 21 posts? It's like a complete stranger walking into a room yelling "I'm pregnant!" to women with IF.

Op congrats but I find no hope or peace in your post. After some 27 months or 29 cycles TTC, 1 medicated ti cycle, 3 failed iui, 2 failed ivfs, this just feels like a slap in the face or salt in a wound.

Nicely put starbinks! And OP, I don't normally reply to these posts, I choose to ignore them, but this is NOT what I wanted to see this morning after a BFN, bad AF cramps and confirmation that I'm moving on to 100% OOP IVF after failing my third IUI. Oh
