BEYOND annoyed!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it deserves that many exclamation points.

Around Christmas time I got this deal off of Living Social for a boudoir photo session with a local photographer. My sister is getting married in October and she wanted to get one for her fianc?e too. So, we both got the deal and set the date for tomorrow.

The photographer has been on and off in the responsiveness category. But, today she sent me an email and we texted back and forth to confirm our shoots for 10am tomorrow. I went out and bought cute lingerie and all kinds of crap. My sis did too. I made up an excuse to my DH that tomorrow we are going to get hair and makeup trials for sister's wedding.

Well, wouldn't you know, the photog just emailed me and said "oh, I have a sick family member who just took a turn for the worse and I have to cancel tomorrow. Hope to reschedule soon." UM. WTF. I mean, I just don't know if I believe her. She never mentioned this sick family member might interfere with the shoot at all. And I talked to her through text for a good 1/2 hour today.

Grrrr.... My sister said today "I hope she doesn't cancel on us" and I said "oh, I don't think she will". Hello. Foot, meet mouth. Eff. Eff. Eff.

Now I'm irritated and I can't tell DH why. I know I'm a jerk if her family really is sick. I get that. But, still. It's annoying and I'm going to be a baby about it for a bit.

  • I just checked her reviews online and looked at her FB page. Seems like she is legit and people really like her. I guess she probably is telling the truth. Now I feel bad for being mad. Oh well. I'm still salty, but just because I was excited.

  • Dont feel bad for getting upset. Just because she has gotten great reviews does not give her the right to flake so close to your appt. I understand that things come up and hit happens but she could have informed you sooner.
